Hoarfrost #5

After the autumn
falling leaves
come early
winter fogs.

I saw hoar frost
float down,
backlit by
winter sunshine.

Sparkling
like diamonds,
enchanting,
but so cold.

How could I
find a place
to stop,
a chance
to capture
anything
of the wonder
I could see.

As I returned
from running
an errand,
I saw grass
with ice flowers.

The end of
the hoar frost.
And still a wonder!
