Eagle View

Eagle View

Rapids and
cataracts,
seen from
above,
they are
so small.
And so
are we.
Sometimes
we feel
we cannot
fall.

Building
solid
structures,
we use our
monkey brains
to make
great shortcuts
and excuses.

From up above,
we can
see those,
for what
they are.

And when
we make up
stories to
explain
our foolishness
to our
feeble selves,
from up
so high,
we seem
so much
smaller,
and lies
we tell
ourselves
so
meaningless.
