For Sale By Owner

the tired old man
lived there long years,

while the paint faded
and the roof rotted.

then he moved on,
he needed help,
and tried a realtor,

but gave up after
a wretched while,

who took his sign,
because there was

no longer anyone
to deal with.

and the old shack
began its return
to mother earth.

      1. Thank you beth. I was talking with another photographer about this. He thought I had reused a photograph. (We were there together.) He saw it too but didn’t make a photograph.

I explained that it was the same house as one I posted to my blog, several days ago, but a different exposure.

It is close to a busy highway on the front. At the back is a creek. Both are too close for comfort and safety. That old house always was a bad idea.

    1. Thank you wolfsrosebud!

I have a photograph that I was looking at a couple of hours ago of a hole in a tree, a bird’s nest. The bottom half (almost) had a huge pile of snow on it (on the doorstep?).

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something which too few people are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy I came across this during my search for something regarding this.

  2. I’ve been absent for a while, but now I remember why I used to love this web site. Thanks , I抣l try and check back more frequently. How frequently you update your website?
